big secret
This year is nothing
short of abnormal. Record snowpack in many places of the High Sierra,
and peak melt not even happening by the end of the first week of June.
It's going to be hard to get on a lot of the High Sierra classics due
to short flow windows and or snowed in access. But you know what the
big secret is? Fantasy Falls. The shuttle road is normally the limiting
factor, but Ebbetts pass is already open. Meaning there should be a
nice long window for this sexy piece of whitewater, since it handles
high water well.
