Sony A6000, Sony Zeiss 50mm f/1.8 @ 1/800 f/1.8 ISO 200
One of my favorite
features of the mirrorless cameras is the ability to do a 10x
magnification to check focus before a sequence, guaranteeing accurate focus. Thus in this sequence last week I was
surprised to find this very soft image thrown in. Focusing was done
before the action, and just the first 3 shots of out a 6 shot sequence
are soft. The last three are identical and decently sharp, at least for
shooting action at 10pm. Initially I would think of OSS or AF as the
culprits, but the lens isn't stabilized and AF was not used during the
sequence. Motion blur at 1/800 of a second? Anyone out there it Sony land with an opinion on why this one
soft and the others not?
